A look back on the little things that made our BIG day
Last Sunday marked my one-year wedding anniversary. It’s hard to believe that one year ago we were scrambling to make sure every little detail would be just right for the big day. Thankfully I had the help from a fellow designer here at Iconix, Mary Kay, to make sure that everything from the invites to the table numbers all worked together just perfectly.
The design of the monogram was one of the first things that needed to be established. Being a graphic designer, it was extremely weird to have the tables turned; I was now the client. Describing what I wanted for a monogram was not an easy task. I knew I wanted it to reflect both David and myself, as well as fit in with my vision for the wedding. But putting that into words was not as simple as I thought.
In the end Mary Kay designed a monogram and complete look for the wedding day that was better than I could have asked for. Walking into the hall that day and seeing everything together was breathtaking! And I have to add I definitely enjoyed being the client for change.
Below are some images to help tell the story of how everything came together in the end:
