10 Decades Of Dodge

It’s not often we get to work on a project related to a centennial event, and in the case of Dodge, it’ll be 100 years before we can do it again.

We were fortunate to be part of a collaborative effort between Dodge Communications, Chrysler’s historical staff and Dodge brand executive staff in their efforts to communicate to the outside world some of Dodge’s most significant events, milestones and achievements during the past 100 years.

An event was held for media and other dignitaries on June 27 at Meadow Brook Hall in Rochester, Mich., where attendees were given an opportunity to drive Dodge vehicles from every era around the spacious grounds of Meadow Brook Farms, as well as meet and talk to executives and other key personnel from the Dodge brand group.

Media were given press kits in the form of a boxed 1/25 scale Dodge speedform vehicle – an actual replica of a former design group study – which also housed an interactive flash drive containing in-depth historical information, photography, video and an interactive timeline of the past 100 years.

We’re particularly proud of these efforts, which required researching Chrysler’s historical documents, as well as books and materials from other outside sources; editing these materials down to a condensed, yet interesting and concise timeline; and designing and developing an interactive brand experiential piece that was visually stimulating, easy to navigate and interesting to view and read.
