If there’s one thing we’ve learned about this business over the years, it’s that you never know what’s gonna come next. So when local fashion/style icon Robere Lett and public relations firm Thornhill Communications approached us about participating in the launch of an all-new, Michigan-based, quarterly digital fashion and lifestyle magazine called Haute is, we were all in.
Their job – along with a highly talented team of stylists, photographers, videographers, writers, editors, models, artists, entertainers, event specialists and numerous other support staff members – was to supply us top notch storylines, visuals and advertising to fill the premiere issue.
Our task was creative concept, magazine and website design, architecture and programming (including compatibility with all types of mobile devices), and seamlessly integrating advertising into the magazine’s decidedly haute, high-fashion look.
We believe success was achieved on all counts.
It was a great project, which also allowed us to work with a group of true professionals from fields we’re not regularly exposed to. And even though the business is a bit different, the deadlines and timeline issues are the same. (“What do you mean we’re not getting the photos until Thursday? Seriously?!”)
